Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and maintain sessions across page loads. aitrips.io uses a minimal set of cookies — only those strictly necessary to operate the service.

2. Cookies We Use

Three cookies, all first-party — set by aitrips.io, readable only by aitrips.io, and never sent to anyone else. All three are session cookies: they are gone when you close your browser. Two are essential to signing in. The third records how you found us so we can tell which of our own pages and listings actually bring people here, and it is only ever set if you accept on the banner.

aitrips_attributionRecords how you first reached the site — any campaign tags on the link you followed, the domain name (never the address) of the page that linked you, and which of our pages you landed on. Set only after you accept below; until then it is held in memory for the page you are on and never written. Read once, when an account is created, then deleted. Declining discards it. Deliberately not a long-lived cookie: if you come back tomorrow we will have forgotten, and we would rather that than keep an identifier on your machine.Session (cleared on browser close), or until you create an accountOur own analytics

3. Cookies We Do NOT Use

We do not use:

  • Advertising or tracking cookies
  • Third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Persistent fingerprinting or cross-site tracking
  • Any cookie for counting visits. We do keep a daily tally of how many times each public page is viewed — see “Counting Visits” in the Privacy Policy — but it needs no cookie and carries no identifier, so there is nothing about it to accept or decline.
  • Any cookie readable by another site. The attribution cookie above never leaves our servers, records the referring domain rather than the page, and cannot follow you anywhere else.

4. Managing Cookies

Disabling cookies in your browser will prevent you from logging in, since the sign-in cookies are essential. The attribution cookie is different: it is not written unless you accept, it clears itself when you close your browser, and declining discards it and stops it being set again. Ignoring the banner has the same effect as declining. Everything else works exactly as before, and the only consequence is that we cannot tell how you found us. You can clear cookies at any time via your browser settings.

All cookies we set are cleared automatically when you close your browser or sign out.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if our cookie usage changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
