By accessing or using aitrips.io ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
aitrips.io is a trip planning platform that allows users to create, organize, and share travel itineraries. The Service includes integration with AI assistants via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling AI-assisted trip planning.
The Service also includes optional AI-powered features — Quick Assist and Destination Briefs — that process trip data using the Claude API (Anthropic). These features are strictly opt-in and require your explicit consent before first use. Your use of AI features is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes what data is shared and how it is handled.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use the Service.
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to the Service, including trip data, notes, and locations. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you create and share. You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
The Service includes optional AI-powered features (Quick Assist, Destination Briefs) that use the Claude API provided by Anthropic. By enabling these features, you:
Consent to the transmission of relevant trip data (destinations, dates, itinerary items, and anonymised traveller information) to Anthropic for processing. Names and personal identifiers are never sent. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should be independently verified before acting on it — particularly for safety-critical travel decisions.
You may withdraw consent and disable AI features at any time via Settings → AI Features. For full details of how AI data is handled, see our Privacy Policy.
The Service provides API access via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for integration with AI assistants. API usage is subject to the following conditions:
You must keep your API keys confidential and not share them with third parties. You may not use the API to access data of other users without their explicit consent. Rate limits may apply based on your subscription plan, and we reserve the right to suspend API access for abuse or excessive usage.
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase.
Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Polar's buyer terms also apply to the payment itself. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
Refunds. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, you keep access to paid features until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not refund partial billing periods. If you delete your account, any active subscription ends immediately and billing stops; the unused remainder of that period is not refunded.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded. Where those laws entitle you to a refund, for example because the Service has a major failure, you will receive one.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Violate any applicable laws or regulations; infringe upon the rights of others; transmit malware, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts; use automated means to access the Service without our permission; or interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by aitrips.io and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without explicit permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. Travel information and suggestions provided through the Service or AI integrations should be independently verified.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AITRIPS.IO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless aitrips.io and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
